Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania
Here's how it works: You decide on the amount you would like to pledge for each
protester (minimum 10 cents). When protesters show up on our sidewalks, Planned
Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania will count and record their number each day from October 1 through November 30, 2005. We will place a signoutside the health center that tracks pledges and makes protesters fully aware that their actions are benefiting PPSP. At the end of the two-month campaign, we will send you an update on protest activities and a pledge reminder.
This was on BoingBoing today. This is a brilliant idea. Every planned parenthood in the country should follow this tactic.
So I've been feeling Kathryn kick and move around for a couple weeks now. The first time I can say for sure it was her was at Steve and Heidi's wedding. She liked the violin music as the bridesmaids were walking down the aisle. She's so little that the movement is hard to feel sometimes. It is still soft and gentle. I love feeling her. As long as she's moving around, I know she's ok. Plus its just really cool to feel this little thing you helped create moving around inside of you. She weighs about 13-14 ounces and is about 7 inches long now at least that's what the fetal growth charts say. She was 10 ounces at my ultrasound. I'm really looking forward to when Will can feel her but I've read that it will take another 7 weeks or so before he can. Sometimes if we press on my tummy she'll kick back at us. I discovered this one night last week. I was trying to find her heartbeat with this microphone thing we have....I couldn't find her heartbeat but she kicked the microphone. So I pressed down with my finger and she kicked again. So I told Will and he started playing with her too. She only did it a couple more times though.
So all is well and we are eagerly waiting for her to arrive :-)
