It has happened I've gotten older. I don't know when this will be posted since, I'm at Tonya's place and she has no meaning full net connection at least not one that is meaning full to my PowerBook.
I'm almost done reading one of four or so books I got for Christmas. Metamandatosh I suck for getting this wrong! Ken gave me Microserfs by Douglas Coupland (one of my favorite authors). I'm about 40 pages from the end.
The story is interesting. As usuasl Coupland gives a deep first person view into the narrators mind and it is hard to tell the difference between what the characters believe and what Coupland believes and is trying to tell us. The story does reveal a lot about the San Francisco bay area from the computer geeks perspective. He does a good job capturing the life vs job conflict and the feel of working at a tiny startup that is constantly fighting for every dollar it needs to stay afloat.
Before you get confused, please note Tonya is posting this not pqbon.
I graduated today!!!! I now have a B.A. in Psychology.....and yes it took me 5 and a half years.....but at least I finished. So I'm free of school till at least this summer when I might take a class if I get into Grad School at San Francisco State. Yea for me!!!!!

Heads-up displays go from cockpits to helmets
Motion Research, a Seattle company former race car driver Dominic Dobson founded in 1993, said it will begin selling an inexpensive information display system next spring that attaches to a motorcycle helmet.
The SportVue head-mounted display will allow riders to see speed, revolutions per minute and gear position without taking their eyes off the road. The system gathers speed information from a global-positioning satellite receiver attached to the rear of the helmet.
OK... This is the coolest thing ever. If anyone wants to get me the coolest thing ever, this is whaty they should get me.
Slashdot | JenniCam Closing After 7 Years
Details are sketchy, but apparently within the past few days, JenniCam has announced that it is closing permanently on New Year's Eve. Jenni Ringley has run the site for over 7 and a half years and was even voted more popular than Linus in a ZDNet poll. Of course, such constant exposure has had its downsides; she has received death threats in the past. Last chance to check out that Slashbox while her life is still online.
It seems Jennifer Ringley is leaving the web. JenniCam started the whole watch my life web cam phenominon.
The JenniCam started when Jennifer was in school continued into her adult life. Before the big internet crash she was at least a B list celebrity. She had mobil camera rigs for going to big web parties, web awards like the webbies and such.
Her site evolved quite a bit. It went from a freebie collage thing, to a freebie out of collage thing, to a subscription thing to pay for the bandwidth, then she got involved with an internet startup, then went private again with subscription to pay for the bandwidth.

It seems my sister has found my blog.
It also seems she has a blog
About her:
She is 7 years younger then I am, and now she is in collage. (Fuck, I'm old!)
She is the youngest of 4 kids.
She has reasonably good taste in music.
She is taller then I am.
She used to follow me around.
When she was an infant I popped her shoulder out of its socket rolling her over on the carpet.
She never calls me.
She drives a '02 Toyota Echo.
She has my old bedroom at my parents house. (She moved in the day I moved to Davis.)
She acts.
She takes pictures.
She is the most in demand baby sitter in Folsom Ca.
Spreading Santorum
The site isn't fully up yet but I think everyone should link to it. Lets do our part to make this the first entry on google when you type Santorum.
Yahoo! News - 'Heavy' Russian Ballerina Wants to Dance Big Roles
"Legally I should be reinstated into the same position as I was in before. I have played the leading role in nearly every classical ballet," said Volochkova, who weighs about 50 kg (110 pounds) and stands at 169 cm (5 feet 7 inches).

Wednesday the 26th of November I rode to Leguna Seca on my 2002 Triumph Daytona 955i Centennial.
Some photos here: Me: 318, 319 and 320 John: 313 and 314 (Feel free to buy me a picture of myself from Ian for me!)
The day started really really wet. The fog the night before left a very wet track. During our sighting laps when we were following the instructor (I was following Craig Hansen. He was throwing a 4 foot roster tail in turn 6 and through the corkscrew. After one more lead around and two sessions by the B group the main line through the track was dry except turn 6 and the corkscrew. Through out the morning the track dried out, but never warmed up. Given my arm issues and the temperature of the track and the newness of my bike I took it easy. I was slower then last time I was at the track on a BMW R1100GS borrowed from a friend. The day went fast. 8 people in the A group went down. I believe they were all from Canada. They were all pushing hard and I think each of them tucked the front. In my last session my last complete lap, two guys tucked the front right in front of me. The first guy trail braked too hard and went down. The next guy jammed on his brakes because he was afraid of hitting the other guy.
At the end of the day, John and I celebrated that we didn't crash. We went the whole day starting wet on a cold day and we didn't crash. We were very happy. That night, John trailered my bike to my house and I rode from my house to Sacramento.
