Doom 3...

After many weeks of not playing I picked up Doom3 again and finished it. This is the first game I've finished since Unreal Tournament 2003. Now that it is over, I've started playing Half Life 2. We'll see how long that one takes.

Doom3 was good. It had a great atmosphere. Between my wife and the cat I was generally startled at least once a night while playing the game. The pacing was good and nothing was impossible. Some of the things you had to do took some thought and planning but in the end every thing worked out and mars was once again safe.
