Hotel Rwanda

Will, Megan (Will's Sister) and I saw Hotel Rwanda last night. For those of you who may not have seen the trailer, It's about a man (played by Don Cheadle) who saved the lives of 1268 people during the genocide in Rwanda in 1994. I would highly recommend, if not urge, people to see this movie. Yes, it's depressing......it is about genocide afterall.....not exactly an uplifting subject. However, it is an amazing story that is so powerful and moving. Don Cheadle's performance is Oscar worthy and all the other cast members are just as great. It's not only an important historical film but its also so well written and directed and acted. I was slightly afraid that it was going to show a lot of the acts of genocide....but they don't really. They show enough to make you understand what is happening without being too gruesome. They wanted a PG-13 rating so that as many people to be able to see the movie as possible. And they manage to make you horrified of whats going on without showing too much of the actual killing.

You do not believe you can kill them all?

Why not? Why not? We are halfway there already.
