Sierra students, professor angry at writer's views on 'hot girls' on campus
A bunch of kids from my graduating class went to seirra, were they all the hot girls? I don't remember. Nicholas Louis says, "NO!" Sierra is not full of hot chicks. It is full of chicks that are fashions slaves but not hot fashion slaves.

"Louis said the Playboy rumor made a mockery out of the school, which he attends to get an education — not to meet girls."
But his column (it sounded like) said "girls here aren't _that_ hot". I think everyone involved (except possibly louis himself) is missing the point, which is that it's kind of stupid to rank schools based on "hot chicks", and demeaning to base the school's reputation on shit like that. ick.

I am a female student there and consider myself beautiful, but not because I "bye" my beauty. I have a great personality and a loving heart, and a killer smile, that's what makes me "hot"- not highlights, tans that cause cancer, a cell phone strapped to my ear, or walking around campus half naked. I think your article rocks. :)
I agree with your article... the girls you're referencing are normal looking (not hot)and just act and dress a certain way that makes them seem otherwise. In fact, I've been a student at 5 other community colleges in the area and Sierra definitely has a lot of those "bitches." It's true. It's about time some focus went onto these women. Just know that the people complaining about your article are suckups and dumbshits. You're the one who is right.
Posted by: Tim at November 9, 2003 3:13 PMi'm female and i think nicholas louis is awesome for writing that article. they say that he made sexist remarks by calling them "bitchy" and everything...but isn't it a little sexist to list colleges by who has the hottest girls? the only reason it's being protested is because he's right -- these girls all sound full of themselves, going into an uproar over a guy saying that clothes and tans don't make them hot. i mean, the professer himself stated that when you talk about global starvation, the students just about tune you out....but as soon as someone challenges their looks, all hell breaks loose. the girls on that campus should be applauding him for knowing that a girl is more than what's on the outside....not condemning him for thinking that the barbie doll clone look doesn't make you hot.

I'm shure are rocklin girls will as well .
