News Sentinel | 09/27/2003 | Man sentenced for firing at motorcyclists
According to a probable cause affidavit, four men were riding their motorcycles westbound on Washington when a light-colored car approached them at a high rate of speed. Two of the bikers pulled off to allow the car to pass, but before the other two could follow suit, Daniels drove through the middle of the group, nearly hitting one of them.
OK so it doesn't specify and SUV but you know he was driving an SUV!
Three of the four motorcyclists followed the car to the parking lot of the Fraternal Order of Eagles on Bluffton Road, where they spotted Daniels. The men began arguing, and Daniels pulled the gun and started firing.
Daniels then left the scene, but one of the motorcyclists gave police the license plate number of Daniels' car. Daniels was arrested about two hours later near his home.
