It looks like my leg is actually healing. It seems all the pain I've been feeling has encouraged my leg into a stage of hypergrowth. Bone caluses have finally formed and the bone seems to be filling in the gap. The Dr. was suprise how much growth my bone demonstrated only 6 weeks after the surgury. Unless something really nasty happens, I won't need anymore surgury.
The Dr said 4 to 6 weeks before I can expect to walk with out pain, two to three monthes before I can run, and 4 to 5 monthes before I can play basketball (or other jumping high leg stress sport...).
The good news is the last surgury was a success and I am healing.
I don't go back to the Dr. for 2 monthes.

All the Best for your recovery,

Volleyball is a pretty good jumping sport.
I'll sign you up for our spring league. :-)
And, of course, this means that, next summer,
you'll be able to leap to catch high throws.
In any case, this is excellent news. I guess
this means you're a slow starter, but eventually
fall into the overachiever track.
Yes, but is 8 months enough for you to recover to the point where you can play the high-stress game of softball? :)
Great news -- congrats!
We'll have him running sprints at Spring Training.
