Getting raped by both the media and Kobe Bryant

Just last week, syndicated radio host Tom Leykis--whose syndicated show is heard in more than 60 cities--publicly identified Byrant's accuser, despite her family's pleas for privacy and news' organization's policies shielding the names of victims of sex crimes.

Friends of the alleged victim have also granted numerous interviews to both television and print journalists, revealing often salacious tidbits.

Internet chat rooms and Websites have been abuzz with news and rumors of the case ever since it broke, even revealing the 19-year-old woman's purported home and email addresses and phone number and circulating photos of the former cheerleader (several of which depicted the wrong woman). And this week's Globe tabloid features a supposed photo of the victim with a black bar covering her face.
