The Tomb Raider sequel is much better then the first, but then that really isn't saying much. The special effects were clearly digital and not of the highest quality. Why can't directors be happy with real special effects? Why do writers write things that are so absurd they can't be filmed? The movie opens with Lara Croft riding a shark, that is so clearly digital it is lame. She goads that shark into attacking her by cutting herself to get some blood in the water.
However, stupid effects and effects ideas aside the movie was worth seeing.
