I'm stuck. I can't get B, C, E, F, J, P, S, U, X, or Y. I don't understand how I can't get X, that should be ridiculously easy, and that B looks oh-so familiar.
There's also a second one that I haven't even tried yet:
Movie Alphabet Game #2

Posted by kwc at March 3, 2004 04:21 PMHorrible. The first one is easy compared to the second.
Posted by: Mike at March 3, 2004 05:28 PMI got A, D, J, L, P, R, T, X, and Z for the second one. B seems obvious, but I can't figure it out.
Posted by: Ken at March 3, 2004 05:42 PMI got A, D, I, F, J, L, N, Q, T, Z, M on the first one. I'll try the second one later - this was already taxing enough on my brain. (I know that when I figure out M I'm going to cry because it's that obvious. But I'll trade you some of my letters for someone else's...)
Posted by: cshell at March 3, 2004 11:33 PMI ended up getting P, and then I ended up looking up the answers for the rest. I'm kicking myself for not getting B or F, but a lot of the rest I've never even heard of, let alone seen the post for.
For the second, I've now also gotten H and M, but it's slow going.
If you want, I can post the ones I've gotten, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone.
Posted by: Ken at March 3, 2004 11:50 PMI finally have the answers to all of them (with some cheating).
Here's some hints:
on the first test, you probably won't want to bother with U or X. I've never heard of the movies, but maybe I'm ignorant.
on the second test, don't bother with F, N, or V, as I don't think the American movie posters ever used those fonts (or spelling). M is a little mean as well, as it's not quite the American poster, I don't think. You probably have a fair chance at the rest.
